In a criminal proceeding, what is the difference between an indictment and an information?
A.   An indictment requires proof beyond a reasonable doubt, but an information does not.
B.   A grand jury issues an indictment, but does not issue an information. C.   Guilt or innocence is determined in an indictment, but not in an information. D.   The defendant is charged with a crime in an indictment, but not in an information.
